Once in the water, you will quickly leave Lynchburg’s urban backdrop and experience the natural side of the James River. You will also be passing by Percival’s Island, under soaring bridges, and through the beautiful bottomland of Central Virginia. This trip offers plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife including otters, beavers, eagles, osprey, deer, and fish.
