Blue Ridge Railway Trail Hike

Take a Hike! Pack a lunch and meander a scenic route along the Piney River. We will walk an out-and-back route of about 6 miles on the rail bed of the former Virginia Blue Ridge Railway. Construction of the railroad started in 1915 and the line was abandoned in 1980. Pack your lunch. Transportation provided from the Miller Center. Register by 10/18.
