Speakertree
This Downtown music store that specializes in vintage records is also helping out modern bands and artists. During the nighttime hours on weekends, you’ll often see music lovers pack into this storefront to hear local, regional and sometimes even national talent. They’ll also occasionally have secret bonus shows during the day featuring national artists who are performing at the Academy Center of the Arts that night.

The Ellington
Back in the day, the Ellington was a jazz supper club, however it had closed and sat vacant. But now it’s open for business once again for a new generation and features a variety of music genres and acts, from local to regional to national talent.

Rivermont Pizza
This restaurant’s claim to fame may be it’s pizza and big selection of beer and cider, but it’s also known as a great place to find up-and-coming talent. Stop by on the weekends or check their Facebook to find out when you can catch a local artist while enjoying a slice and an ice cold beverage of choice.
The Glass House
This multipurpose venue on the historic Jefferson Street in Downtown Lynchburg hosts everything from weddings, conferences to all-out band tours! The 3,000 square foot property features a events space, outdoor seating and a mini bar.

White Hart
On First Fridays, the White Hart offers new talent, whether they’re a singer, comedian or poet, to take to their stage and perform during their open mic nights.
Fifth & Federal
Grab a pint, some barbeque and take a seat outside at this bar and restaurant on Fifth Street. Every Thursday they open up their stage to welcome local bands to play at their open mic night.
