Join us for our first installment of our “Cook Bedford Ave” series! We’ll be showcasing eateries and chefs who are our neighbors on the avenue.
Meet Jesus and Andrea Ochoa of Taco Jesus who in 2023, along with Andrea’s father Chef Rudy, decided to take the dive into small business as a family. The Taco Jesus team cares deeply about freshly made Mexican food and are excited to share some generational wisdom with you! In this class, you’ll make Taco Jesus’ hand-made tortillas and learn how to griddle them to perfection on a plancha. Then make fresh molcajete salsa and authentic guacamole (which you’ll enjoy with chips, of course!). Participants will create their own tacos with special fixin’s form Taco Jesus to enjoy in class. We can’t wait to see you around the table!
Each participant will take receive a tortilla warmer to take home any leftover tortillas, and (if older than 21) will receive a glass of wine, beer, or seltzer.
This class is ideal for ages 14+
