French Frangipane Tart Class @ The Flour District

This sweet little French tart will have you saying “Ooh la la ma chérie!”
Come to The Flour District Teaching Kitchen and learn to craft this impressive and beautiful dessert using clever shortcuts and expert techniques. We’ll walk you through making pâte sucrée tart crust (basically short bread cookie dough) and the frangipane filling (almond spread). Then pick from an array of bright berries and stone fruits to create your own tart, bake it in class, and take it home with you! Voilà!

Each participant will take home their fully baked tart, plus a 9″ specialty tart pan, a ready to bake tart crust, and recipes for the crust and filling.
Age Recommendation: 12+ (all participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
