Tacky Lights Tour

Board the Parks and Recreation tacky lights tour bus and enjoy festive holiday music while viewing Lynchburg’s finest lit houses! There will be two tour times available: 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The tour will include a 45 minute circuit starting and ending at Miller Center. While you wait or following the tour, participants are invited to enjoy s’mores and hot cocoa outside at the center.

Check in is located in the first floor Miller Center community room. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the Rec Department to feature your neighborhood or home in the tour. For the health and safety of our staff and patrons, tours are being offered privately. Your registration reserves the bus for your family only. Due to social distance measures, the bus can seat up to 8 family members per tour. The bus will be thoroughly cleaned between tours. Register 3 days in advance.

Safety is the top priority at Lynchburg Parks and Recreation as we continue to serve our community members with quality programs. We have implemented the following safety protocols for all of our in-person recreation programs: Assumption of Risk forms, daily health screening questionnaire, social distanced classroom set-up, face mask requirements, hand sanitation stations on site, and regular cleaning of the facilities.
