Scotts Mill Dam — Paddle the James

Paddle a canoe under Langley Fountain and explore the James river up to the Scotts Mill Dam. Meet an American Canoe Association certified guide at the Riveredge Park Boat Ramp for a morning on the water with a little history and a whole lot of fun. Canoeing experience is Highly recommended; check-out our Canoeing 101 class. Youth 15 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 8 are welcome and do not need to pay for registration; however, parents/guardians are required to notify the Nature Zone at 434-455-5828 prior to the program. Register by 7/20.
