First Friday: Sewing Foxtails

This First Friday, May 3rd, Vector Space, Lynchburg’s own makerspace, will be getting you fired up for the oncoming season of yard games by helping you make your own high flying FOXTAIL! Prepare to let you or the little maker in your family’s sewing skills soar as we dive into this project together.
Vector Space Staff and volunteers will be there to guide you and your family members along through the process. Materials are provided, activities begin at 5pm & end at 8pm. Member guided tours of our unique and inspiring space are available at each of our First Friday events. This month’s skill share will be held upstairs in our textiles area, entry is through our Memorial road entrance and foxtail firing tests will take place in our grassy patch behind the building.
First Friday is always free, family friendly and open to the public, entry donations of $3 or more are welcome and very appreciated. We look forward to seeing you there!
