Ballet & Modern Dance (Ages 18+)

A shortened summer session is the perfect time to take time for yourself and get your body moving. This 6-week class for all levels offers an introduction or reintroduction to dance. Dancers will increase strength, flexibility, balance, and creativity while exploring ballet and modern dance steps based on the technique of Merce Cunningham, an American modern dance pioneer. They will also spend part of each class learning choreography. Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in such as a t-shirt and leggings. Dancers will dance barefoot, so no need for special shoes. Register by 7/5.
