24th Annual Amazing Mile Children’s Run and Family Festival

The Amazing Mile Children’s Run invites area youth ages 13 and under to get up and get moving in downtown Lynchburg! Held in conjunction with the Virginia 10 Miler, this regional favorite offers an event for every skill level, including a one-mile run, a half-mile run, and a quarter-mile run. Each year, family members and community spectators head downtown to support the children’s run and take part in the Family Festival held at Amazement Square and the surrounding area between Jefferson Street and the James River!

Scorpy has lost his four wellness stones—Energy, Focus, Strength, and Joy—and needs your help to recover them! Each activity station is a challenge to earn one stone. Complete all four to restore Scorpy’s Wellness Power and become an official “Wellness Hero!”
