A tasty find, blending tempting retail and delicious food. It looks like a counter service ladies-who-lunch place, with lots of charm, lots of merchandise. Our sandwiches (Tuna salad, smoked turkey) surprised us with their freshness, quality and distinctive flavors, right down to the bread. Appledapple cake was truly delicious and apple-y. Eager to try the coffee at adjacent coffee bar. We'll be back.

I happen to be passing by and spotted this gem. Beautiful home decor from plates, candles, gourmet food items. There's too much to mention. There is a Cafe and tables inside looking out to a running creek. Outdoor seating also. Clean restrooms.

My family and I visited Farm Basket last Friday, and we were all impressed!My husband ordered the Roast Beef and Cheddar sandwich, and my son-in-law had the Chicken Salad sandwich. My daughter and I shared the Virginia Ham and Swiss Cheese sandwich, which came with potato salad and a brownie. I absolutely loved how the apple butter complemented the champagne mustard — such a perfect balance of flavors! The ham tasted fresh, and the sandwich was toasted just right.The potato salad and brownie were the perfect additions. The potato salad, in particular, stood out — it was so much better than store-bought versions. The texture was firm yet soft, perfectly seasoned, and the dill added an amazing touch of flavor. The brownie was very chocolatey with just the right amount of fudge icing. It had more of a cake-like texture, which I really liked.The ambiance was just as enjoyable as the food. I sat facing a window with a lovely scenic view that made me feel like I was at a cozy mountain resort. It was peaceful and relaxing — the perfect spot to unwind over a good meal.Overall, our experience at Farm Basket was excellent. We all loved our sandwiches, and I’m already looking forward to trying more of their menu. This will definitely be my go-to place for sandwiches from now on!

Cool place to hang out. There's a rstuarant in the back and a Golf Park Coffee shop right next door. Lots of seating. I like to come here to do work.

One of our very favorite lunch spots! Perfect to go as one of their affordable box lunches for a picnic or work break meal or a lovely place to eat in or outdoors. They are so flexible with your preferences and the food is delicious!! A huge menu to choose from to suit almost any type of diet. We have found the chicken salad with grapes and pecans so good we hardly can choose anything else. When they were out of their famous apple dapple cake we had to choose a cookie instead… a delightful option in multiple flavors…all yummy but the everything oatmeal chocolate chip and snickerdoodle are our favs. The bar top seating is very convenient and the complimentary iced lemon water is a nice touch. Served by friendly staff and mostly presented in eco friendly paper wrappers, it is surely the nicest lunch in Lynchburg as the full parking lot attests to! They offer quick order ahead pickup for those in a hurry.
