This may be a dirty looking hole-in-the-wall billiards hall, but it is a diamond in the rough. The beers are great, but the fries are even better. Get a large basket with seasoning salt and extra ranch - you won't regret it. Also, they take cash only, so either bring it or be willing to use the on site ATM machine.

The food was great service also. Had the club sandwich best in a long time. Place must have been there forever. Just went in again food was great again. But this time waitress was a smart ass. She got no tip, sorry to have bothered her.

If you're in Lynchburg, you should definitely check out the Cavalier! Their burgers, ruebens, fries, & beer are always tasty & reasonably priced. I also love the ceiling with hundreds of license plates! It's pretty cool. It's not the cleanest spot in town & if you're looking for healthy options, go somewhere else.

The Cavalier has the best Rueben ever. I try this sandwich everywhere I go and have never found one better. Their burgers were rated the best in Virginia by some independent dude who traveled everywhere sampling independent restaurants. Great laid back place.
