Celebrating more than 20 seasons, Opera on the James is Central Virginia’s professional opera company, presenting live opera performances, concerts, educational programming, and community outreach throughout the region. As an OPERA America Level Four Professional Company, Opera on the James brings nationally recognized performers together with emerging and local talent while offering productions that range from classic opera to contemporary works.
