I love Montana Plains! Scrumptious! The dessert is wonderful. I love to stop and get lunch.....I recommend chicken salad on cottagecheese dill bread! OMG! And don't forget the dill chips and root beer or blueberry soda! 😁

In response to one insane review on this page, one of the owners of Montana Plains, Joey, who is my partner, and who has two children of his own, would absolutely never make snide comments about special needs children. What he does do, however, is get into political arguments with strangers on facebook. I try to tell him not to feed the trolls, but he has a hard time not taking the bait. Anyway, sometimes these facebook strangers who don't even live in Virginia troll his profile, find out where he works, and leave one star reviews of his business with asinine accusations that have no basis in fact. I know I'm biased, but Joey is truly a doting father and the kindest man I've ever had the privilege of knowing. But you don't have to take my word for it. Pop in to the bakery and see for yourself. Oh, and the pastries ain't bad either! :)

It's nice going to a locally owned business where the employees genuinely care about providing a good service and food! Everything on the menu is delicious and the pricing is fair. You can tell they take pride in what they do. A must try.
