Miller Park has almost 30 acres and includes two picnic shelters that can be rented, as well as the historic octagon shaped Aviary building, perfect for weddings, parties, and other events.  Other amenities include Baseball fields, Basketball court, Horseshoe pits and playground. The Miller Park Pool is the only public outdoor pool in Lynchburg, and can be rented for special occasions. The Miller Center building houses a theater, classrooms and other events spaces as well as the Nature Zone, an interactive nature center.
