Historic Presbyterian Cemetery

Founded in 1823, Presbyterian Cemetery is one of Lynchburg’s oldest historic burial grounds and serves as the final resting place for many individuals who helped shape the city’s history. Located beside the historic Diamond Hill neighborhood, the cemetery features beautiful monuments, sculpture, and a peaceful, park-like setting. Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds and discover nearly two centuries of Lynchburg history through its markers and memorials.
