Blackwater Creek Trail is one of Lynchburg’s most popular outdoor destinations, offering a scenic paved pathway for walking, running, and biking along the winding Blackwater Creek. Built on a former railway bed, the trail travels through a wooded urban forest with access points throughout the city and connections to additional trail systems including the RiverWalk Trail and Point of Honor Trail. Visitors can enjoy peaceful natural scenery, wildlife viewing, and easy access to downtown Lynchburg, while the Ed Page entrance also features parking, restrooms, and the Awareness Garden.
