Art Alley

Opened in 2021, Art Alley transformed a once-overlooked alleyway in downtown Lynchburg into a vibrant public art destination and gateway to the Bluffwalk. Located at the intersection of Commerce and 11th Street, the outdoor space features colorful murals, rotating art panels, and street art created by more than a dozen Central Virginia artists. Popular for photos, evening strolls, and exploring downtown’s creative scene, Art Alley blends public art, community gathering space, and local culture in the heart of the city.
