Pink Witness Presents Celebration of Life Banquet

It is with great pleasure that the Pink Witnesses, Inc. announce our Fourth Annual Celebration of Life Banquet. The Pink Witnesses are a group of Breast Cancer Survivors whose main goal is to make a difference in the lives of men and women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer as well as bring awareness to the importance of annual mammograms and self-monitoring. The Banquet is a semi-formal event celebrating and honoring breast cancer survivors. It will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Academy Center of the Arts Warehouse Theatre located at 519 Commerce Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504. Banquet tickets are $50 each. This event will include a delicious dinner and music from the Quintana Band. Our very special guest speaker will be Mrs. Hermina W. Hendricks. Mrs. Hendricks of Lynchburg, VA is known throughout Central Virginia as a Professor of Music History and Appreciation, choral music, sacred songs, and educator of a diversity of music study styles, including organ and piano music. She served for more than 45 years as the church organist/pianist and director of the Senior Choir at Diamond Hill Baptist Church. Even though she has retired from Randolph College, she remains active as a Senior Lecturer of Music at Randolph College and Assistant Professor at Virginia University of Lynchburg.
