LSO Presents: Bold Sounds & Bright Stars

Beethoven’s bold Third Symphony, nicknamed “Eroica,” or “Heroic,” launches the LSO’s 43rd season with music that redefined what a symphony could be. Amping up the star power, Brazilian violin virtuoso Carmelo de los Santos dazzles the audience with Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. The stars of tomorrow also shine, as the Lynchburg Symphony Youth Orchestra joins the LSO on stage for Vaughan Williams’ English Folk Song Suite.
