September 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$20 – $100
An incredible performance by the fully professional Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra (LSO), led by music director David Glover, featuring some of the greatest works of classical music.
Virtuoso Brazilian violinist Carmelo de los Santos will be the featured guest artist with the LSO, performing Astor Piazzolla’s tango influenced The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
Musicians of the Lynchburg Symphony Youth Orchestra will join the LSO side-by-side for two movements from Vaughn-Williams’ English Folk Song suite in a heart-warming tribute to music education and the youth of Lynchburg.
The LSO will perform one of the most groundbreaking symphonies ever written, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 called the “Eroica” or “Heroic.” This epic journey takes you through the full range of human emotions, capped with an exultant conclusion.
