Love Heals: Lynchburg Cares

The Lynchburg-based nonprofit Love Heals will hold a benefit concert featuring the band Oceanic at the University of Lynchburg on Friday, Sept. 4. The concert will be held on the Dell in front of Hopwood Hall. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public, but donations are encouraged. Donations can be made through the Love Heals giving platform. All donations and a percentage of concessions proceeds will benefit Lynchburg Cares, the University’s crisis fund, which “provides financial assistance to faculty, staff, and students facing emergencies.”

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The event has a clear bag policy.
