Lynchburg Parks & Recreation and the Lynchburg Museum System are partnering this fall to offer three Historic Building tours of buildings now operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. Building tours include Jacksontown School on 9/17, now the Jackson Heights Art Studio on Winston Ridge Rd., Miller Park Aviary on 10/15, and Miller Park Elementary School on 11/12. Tours start at 4:00pm and will be offered in-person with socially distanced room set-ups. In addition, the tours will be virtually aired at a later date. All ages are welcome and the tours are free to the community members. Please register in advance at www.LynchburgParksAndRec.com.
