Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, October 29th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Horizon and the Lynchburg Police Department will be at 2241 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg for residents to dispose of expired, unwanted, or unused medications as well as provide valuable resources to safeguard our communities. Rapid REVIVE Trainings will also be offered at this location for individuals interested in receiving free Narcan and becoming trained in opioid overdose emergency response.

Our goal is to help the community safely dispose of unwanted and expired medications. Our drop off site is anonymous and The PD will destroy the containers too. We want this event to be safe, convenient, and responsible.Please stop by and take advantage of this great event. If you can’t make it to the event, but still need to dispose of medications stop by the LPD at 905 Court Street to use our Medication Drop Box!
