Cooking 101: Seafood Sampler! Intro to Oysters, Scallops, & Fish with Marsh Roots Seafood @ The Flour District

Join us for our second installment of our “Cook Bedford Ave” series! We’ll be showcasing eateries and chefs who are our neighbors on the avenue.
In this class you’ll meet Erick Clark of Marsh Roots Seafood Company who’ll show you around the mysterious world of preparing delicious and easy fish and shellfish dishes. Learn how to shuck oysters and then enjoy them on the half shell or learn a quick way to roast them. Next learn the best techniques behind fresh scallop ceviche, then create a marinade for an easy and tasty baked fish recipe that we’ll make in class.
Each participant will enjoy a glass of wine or beer (if older than 21) or a fizzy water and take home an oyster shucking knife.
This class is ideal for ages 14+
