Archaeology Behind the Scenes Tour
October 9 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 11:00 am, repeating until October 10, 2020
An amateur archaeologist himself, Thomas Jefferson would surely be fascinated by the over 300,000 artifacts found on the Poplar Forest grounds since 1986. Join Poplar Forest’s archaeologists for a 90-minute walking tour focused on the latest archaeological dig sites and discoveries on the plantation; included is a visit to the Poplar Forest archaeology lab, which is typically closed to visitors. Admission is $20 per person in advance, $25 at the door; reservations are encouraged.
Yours are October 9th and October 10th starting at 11am and 2pm each day.
