Walk in the Woods; Candler Mountain, Monday October 5th!

A Walk in the Woods, a signature program of the 500-Year Forest Foundation, connects Virginians with the ecological, cultural, and economic value of our forests. These guided walks invite people of all ages and backgrounds to explore local woodlands, learn from forest experts, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural heritage that sustains our communities.
Our next walk is on Monday, October 5th at Candler Mountain at 1pm. This event is free and open to anyone that will enjoy a walk in a forest. Our Forest Manager Gabe Quintero will be leading the walk.
