Historic Sandusky-University of Lynchburg

Historic Sandusky is a Federal-style home built in 1808 that served as Union headquarters during the Battle of Lynchburg. Owned and operated by the University of Lynchburg, the site now functions as a museum and Civil War center, preserving more than two centuries of local and national history. Visitors can tour the house by appointment or explore the grounds and interpretive markers at their own pace.
