Torchlight Tours at the Appomattox Station Battlefield

October 24 @ 6:30 pm - October 25 @ 8:00 pm

$10 – $15
  • « Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet with Virginia Tango – FREE!
  • Downtown Lynchburg Walking Ghost Tour »

On Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th, from 6:30–8 PM, the Appomattox Station Battlefield will come alive under the glow of torches and the scent of woodsmoke. Your guide will lead you along the very ground where sabers flashed, shells screamed, and history teetered on the edge of its final chapter.

As you move through the shadows, living historians will share first-hand accounts—voices of soldiers who witnessed courage, heartbreak, and the bitter taste of both victory and defeat. You’ll hear the pounding of hooves in your mind, see the flash of artillery in the dark, and feel the tension of a nation on the brink of peace.

Tickets are available for purchase on the website for a discounted price. Expect an increase in ticket prices at the gate.
