Every Family Has A Story – Genealogy Talk

January 21, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

$10
  • « Peggy Haas Howell Organ Recital
  • EC Glass Presents “Almost, Maine” »

OCC Board President Ray Dinstel has worked in the insurance industry for 40 years, but his passions are reading, history and research. Before the age of computers, his mother was an avid family genealogist, and Ray has carried on her work of documenting his family’s history through genealogical study. On January 21 at 10 am, he will host a talk here at Old City Cemetery, and share what he has learned about the family research process. Ray has discovered many interesting and unique facts about his ancestors, for example, he had relatives on both sides of the Civil War. Join us for tips on growing your research toolbox, and to learn the value of knowing your family’s unique story.
