Now over 40 years strong, the Moore & Giles Virginia 10 Miler brings more than 3,000 runners to Lynchburg to take the challenge of running this historic course which has hosted respected competitors from around the globe. There are other distances to choose from if ten miles is not your speed, including a 4-mile run, 4-mile walk, and the popular Amazing Mile Kids Run, making this a fun family event.
With 1/4, 1/2, and 1-mile options, the Amazing Mile Kids Run is hosted by Amazement Square Hands-On Children’s Museum. The race takes place in Downtown Lynchburg with lots of cheering fans.
