Christmas Open House at Point of Honor

Holiday Movie Marathon

Can’t decide which holiday film to watch with your friends? Why not watch them all? Academy Center of the Arts will be hosting an epic 16-hour holiday movie marathon featuring cult-classic films such as National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Frosty’s Wonderful Winter Wonderland and more. Candlelight Tours at Poplar Forest
Dates: November 30- December 14
Get to know the life of Thomas Jefferson as well as his family’s Christmas traditions at his private retreat, Poplar Forest. Guests will explore the founding father’s home by candlelight and hear true stories and anecdotes from Jefferson’s personal letters and diaries all while taking in the colonial-style decorations. Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra Presents: There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays!
