2020 was unlike any other year! But, will still had a great time enjoying our beautiful city and helping you explore it, whether it was outdoors and at a social distance or virtually. When you visit Lynchburg, you HAVE to stop by Mama Crockett’s! We were craving these cider donuts with an iced apple cider in October.
In August we enjoyed some late summer sunsets from the Lower Bluffwalk as we supported our local restaurants and dined outdoors at the Downtown Pop-Up Parks.
For Earth Day we spent some time appreciating the beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center.
In June, The City of Lynchburg honored Juneteenth as a municipal holiday.
In the first week of September, the City celebrated the grand reopening of the newly restored overlook at Riverside Park.
And in May we shared why you should visit the James River Foot Bridge.
