Lynchburg is open for visitors! Governor Northam’s Forward Virginia Phase 2 economic reopening plan has enabled businesses to reopen for indoor gathering, established public area sanitation guidelines and continued social distancing regulations. Lynchburg restaurants are now welcoming guests back with modified seating arrangements, physical distancing both indoors and outdoors and mask-wearing requirements. Local shopping destinations are also open with similar requirements. Phase 3 is expected to further expand these regulations with attractions opening the hosting of small events. But in the meantime, we are happy to see visitors coming back to our beautiful city! Our hotels and inns especially are prepared to receive lodgers and visitors with increased safety measures and precautions in place. Here’s how they’re doing that.
The Craddock Terry Hotel

They have always been committed to providing the best experience for guests through their shoe-themed amenities, spacious rooms and of course their hypoallergenic, tail-wagging mascot Penny Loafer. Now, they are continuing that commitment by adopting extensive measures to keep lodgers safe. These measures include enhanced, additional and more frequent cleanings and sanitizing of all public areas using CDC-approved cleaning products. They are also sanitizing their room keys, providing disposable cutlery for dining areas and serving individually wrapped breakfast items. No matter when guests are able to enjoy an overnight stay at this historic hotel, they can rest assured the Craddock Terry staff is prepared to receive them.
