* Temporarily closed * Fifth and Federal Whiskey bar serves a wide variety of sophisticated Southern fare the whole family can enjoy. Located on the Round-About at Fifth and Federal Streets, the restaurant maintains some of the rich history and decor of the 1924 renovated Esso Gas station first it resides in. Enjoy fantastic BBQ & Southern-style cuisine prepared by culinary mastermind Chef/Pitmaster Rufus, who has more than 30 years of experience. Dine in the open and airy private room, or sip on one of many variations of bourbon by the fireplace in the lounge. Looking for alfresco dining? 5th and Federal offers more outdoor space than anyone downtown, with a large wrap-around fireplace to cuddle up and enjoy their fine dishes or a delicious well-aged single barrel bourbon.

This is a very laid back place, but not in terms of service; the staff here takes customer service seriously. I've never had bad service and I have always been very impressed with the food too. They also have a good drink selection here if that is something that means a lot to you.The most important thing is that they are not very expensive for the amount of food that you get. I've been very impressed with this place!

One of my favorite places to patron. Great food and alcohol. I'm a fan of the open mic night and goth night every month is fantastic

Great whisky selection, good craft beer selection, good food. Love the garage/bay doors that open up. The addition of the outdoor stage will hopefully lead to even more live music there!

PARKING: Weird and spread out, but there should be enough for their capacity. I uploaded a photo of their parking map for convenience. OVERALL: Awesome decor and a really cool feel. Burgers were great, but they skimped hard on the Mac and Cheese on their "Mac Daddy" burger. Fry seasoning was delicious. The menu was on the smaller side, but it was really diverse. I don't think I've ever seen hoecakes on a menu that had wine, but you'll find that here.
