Originally started by internationally-acclaimed yoga teacher, Cyndi Lee, Yoga Goodness is continuing on the vision of incorporating the full mind, body and soul into your practice. They host classes for all ages and experience levels at their studio in the Riverviews Artspace on Jefferson Street. Plus, they offer a free class on the First Sunday of the month.
James River Yoga
Located on Rivermont Avenue in the Piedmont Center, James River Yoga Studio hosts classes each day for beginners and experienced yogis in the community. Their group classes feature an experienced teacher that helps with ensuring poses are safe and done correctly so that you can get the best benefit out of your practice.
Hot Yoga Lynchburg
Ready to turn up the heat on your practice? Hot Yoga Lynchburg runs their Bikram and Vinyasa yoga classes in a room heated to 105 degrees with 40 percent humidity. The goal: to sweat out the toxins and return to a happier, healthier you. All experience levels welcomed!
Rise Up Climbing
Indoor rock climbing by day, yoga studio by night. Every Tuesday and Thursday, Rise Up Climbing offers yoga classes free for members and $5 for non-members. They have a Vinyasa class on Tuesdays and a Deep Stretch class on Thursdays, with all levels of experience, welcomed in both classes.
