Week of Green Celebration

Celebrate Arbor Day and Earth Day with a week of green living. Join the City Arborist, Lynchburg Water Resources, Lynchburg Parks and Recreation, and more in activities for all ages. Learn how to build and maintain a rain barrel, help volunteer to keep our parks healthy, get your hands dirty with a craft, and so much more.
Check out our kick-off event at the Lynchburg Community Market downtown on 4/23 from 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., or hang out at our wrap-up event at Riverfront Park on 4/30 from 11:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. with live music, food trucks, and lots of earth related fun! Registration is not required for the kick-off event or wrap-up event. Registration is required for all other events.
