Second Stage | Amherst is launching its NEW Membership Program to the Community! This event is a sample of the unique and insightful opportunities Second Stage will offer its Members in return for a financially modest, yearly commitment.
Second Stage is hoping to collect a group of community members who, collectively, have a broad and open imagination, willingness to share unique and personable skills, and who are excited to be part of a growing organization already deep-rooted within the history of Amherst County.
What to expect at this event:
-Music from local group ThistleWood. A three-member musical group, including Jim Roberston, who also plays with the Blazing Saddle Tramps, Jessie Shaw on harp, and Paul Brockman. ThistleWood focuses on traditional music with a strong Irish/Scottish foundation.
-Interviews with special guests that will share insights of off-grid living, homesteading, and self-reliance.
-There will also be an intermission, offering light refreshments, that will include locally made items.
Again, this event is free and open to the public!
