Personal Freedoms: A Button Campaign + Wearable Exhibition
September 1 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
On January 6, 1941, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt declared four inalienable freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. What freedoms are you for? Stop by the Maier between 1 pm – 4 pm to create a free button that captures the freedoms and issues you believe in. Wear your button and share your personal freedoms.
This project is in partnership with For Freedoms 50 State Initiative, a non-partisan, nationwide campaign to use art as a means of inspiring broad civic participation. Randolph College is one of over 200 colleges, universities, museums, and community organizations participating in the initiative.
