Knifemaking 101

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until May 5, 2022
During this three-day workshop, participants will create their very own knife and sheath to take home. While completing this project, they will learn the stock removal process of knife making which is much more akin to wood carving and machining than it is to forging. Learning this skill will allow participants to build a solid foundation on how to use the proper tools for this craft. Participants will also learn the different steel types and the design of a knife. Using this process, everyone will create a knife of their very own to take home.
Three 2.5 hour classes. Class dates and times are as follows:
