Juneteenth Concert at Old City Cemetery: Isaac Williams Jazz Combo

Kick off a weekend of celebration at Old City Cemetery!

Back by popular demand, Lynchburg native pianist Isaac Williams & his fabulous jazz combo will perform in the Early Memorial Shrub Garden on June 16th, from 6 to 8 pm. Seating will be available under a shaded canopy. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show! Food will be available for purchase.
The show will feature pianist Isaac Williams with Jonah Horton on bass, Nate Gilmore on drums, and Joseph Henson on the saxophone. Also featuring the talents of Temika Younger, historical interpreter, portraying Lynchburg’s last ticket taker for the segregated balcony at the Academy Center: the beloved Miss Boonie (Lottie Payne Stratton).

Tickets are $5 a person.
