Donut Day & The Donut Dollies of WWI

Come to the Old City Cemetery Museums & Arboretum to enjoy a free donut, and to learn about the amazing Donut Dollies of WWI and their contribution to the war effort! The Donut Dollies were young women who volunteered with the Salvation Army to serve coffee and donuts ON THE FRONT LINES! They continued to serve American troops overseas through the Vietnam War. Their little-known story is definitely worth hearing! You’ll also get to see the inside of our WWI Stapleton Station, where donuts will be served. Donuts available until we run out!
