Cooking 101: Intro to Sushi

Ready to explore Japanese cuisine and dabble in the art of making sushi? Let Chef Marisa Jones be your global guide! Enjoy this laid back introduction on making your own seasoned sushi rice, composing your rolls, rolling them up, then slicing for eating! This is a choose your own adventure class where you can make a classic California roll, or Spicy Tuna roll, Salmon nigiri, veggie rolls or a combo of all! We’ll also enjoy preparing shrimp and veggie tempura (deep fired goodness!) and a dipping sauce to go with.

Participants will make and enjoy a sushi dinner in class, plus enjoy a glass of wine or beer (if older than 21) or a fizzy water.
