First Friday @ the Academy Center of the Arts

Head to the Academy Center of the Arts for First Friday every month. They feature a variety of artwork throughout the year in our three gallery spaces on property. The Ann White Academy Gallery and Art Up Front Gallery, both located on the first floor of the Academy Center of the Arts at 600 Main Street and The Arts Education Lobby, located at Commerce & 5th Streets in historic Downtown Lynchburg. Join the Academy every First Fridays Lynchburg, 5-8pm, as they unveil their latest art exhibits, featuring an array of local, regional and national artists presenting works in varying mediums. The GLTC “Art” Trolley will run between the Academy Center of the Arts, Riverview’s Artspace, the Lynchburg Art Club, the Lynchburg Museum at the Old Court House, Rivermont Studio and participating downtown restaurants, from 5-8pm.
