16th Annual Empty Bowls

Tickets are now on sale for the 16th Annual Empty Bowls Event on March 16, 2024 in support of the Lynchburg Daily Bread. This year’s event will take place from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
Early bird tickets are $30, and allow ticketholders to arrive at 10:30 AM to have first pick of their bowl. Soup serving will begin at 11:00 AM. General admission tickets are $20 and allow ticketholders to arrive at 12:30 PM to pick their bowl(s) and enjoy the food served.
All ticketholders can pick out their favorite bowl(s), enjoy soup tastings, and engage with Lynchburg Daily Bread staff and volunteers. This year, ~95% of the clay used for the bowls is recycled clay, and bowls are made by Academy potters as well as Lynchburg Daily Bread staff.
This is the 16th year of the Empty Bowls event here in Lynchburg, and last year’s event raised $9,000 for the Lynchburg Daily Bread.
