Motherfolk, with Wylder

Blending genres in a way that only a Midwestern indie rock band can, Motherfolk is a band of raw talent. They’ll take the Ellington stage with Wylder, an indie folk band with a penchant for storytelling.

Love Canon will bring their raucous blend of bluegrass to The Glass House stage. With equal parts original and acoustic covers of classic hits, Love Canon will please the masses.
2019 Lynchburg Battle of the Burgers
When: Saturday, June 22, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Where: Riverfront Park
Grab your stretchy pants and come with an appetite for the Lynchburg Battle of the Burgers. Attendees will vote for their favorite burger after sampling sliders from local restaurants, all while enjoying craft beer and live music.
Virginia Summer Solstice Wine Festival
When: Saturday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Lazy Days Winery
The 11th annual Virginia Summer Solstice Wine Festival will be an exciting event for the whole family. Sample local wines, enjoy live music from two stages and indulge in festival food favorites.

1776: The Concert Musical
When: June 27 to 29, at 9:30 p.m.
Where: Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest
Revel in the revolutionary spirit of America’s Founding Fathers at Poplar Forest’s annual presentation of 1776, a Tony Award-winning musical based on the events leading up to the drafting and signing of the Declaration of Independence.
