One of the city’s most beloved greenspaces, Riverside Park is home to unique historic features that reflect Lynchburg’s development and the evolving ideals of its people. Today, the landmarks of Riverside Park evoke important moments in Lynchburg’s history, offering insights into the city’s shifting approach to community access and inclusion. Explore landmarks of the park and its history in this casual, 60-minute, guided walking tour of Riverside Park. Includes special interior tour of the 1790 Miller-Claytor House.

Tours are free, but reservations are required. Call (434) 455–6226 or visit LynchburgMuseum.org/walking-tours to reserve your spot. Each tour is limited to 20 people.
