Berlind Symposium, Panel Discussion: The Women of York: “Shared Dining”

The 106th Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art: “Carceral States” includes the installation piece, “Women of York: ‘Shared Dining’” created in 2013 by a group of ten women incarcerated at York Correctional Institution in Connecticut, inspired by Judy Chicago’s iconic feminist masterpiece, “The Dinner Party.” Join us for a panel discussion with four of the Women of York: Tracie Bernardie, Kelly Donnelly, Panna Krom, and Lisette Oblitas-Cruz, as well as Joseph Lea, retired Library Media Specialist from York Correctional Institution who was instrumental in facilitating the creation of “Shared Dining.”
