Join the Lynchburg Historical Foundation for a First Friday Celebration of the Tomato. Local history tells that the first tomato or "love apple" was eaten by Thomas Jefferson at the Miller-Claytor House. There will be some tomato tidbits to sample and wine and beer for purchase. Local artist Alice Glass will be displaying her beautiful paintings and Mrs. Miller will be there to recount all of the commotion caused by Thomas Jefferson that day. FREE and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated.
