Going into its 27th year, the Virginia Commonwealth Games is held annually, (with most events taking place in July), hosting almost 10,000 athletes of all ages and skill levels. From archery to wrestling, this event represents the true spirit of amateur athletics offering sports competition venues for 55+ different Olympic and Pan American sports.

Take part as a competitor or a spectator of your favorite sport, either way you will feel the pure pleasure of competing for the love of sport!

General Information:
Hill City Sevens, Rugby Tournament hosted by Blackwater RFC and Part of the Virginia Commonwealth Games

Competition Format:
16 Team 4 pools of 4. The top 2 of each pool advances to a quarterfinal single-elimination, and the bottom two of each pool advance to a "Division II" quarterfinal single-elimination. This way everyone gets lots of games.
 
Eligibility: 
All players must be CIPP registered with USA Rugby

Rules:  
-Matches will be played across full size pitches.
-Teams can include 15 players, but only 12 players can play in any given match.
-Rolling substitutions will apply throughout the competitions.
-7 minutes each way in the pool stages and 10 minutes in the finals.
-All matches are overseen by, fully qualified USA Rugby referees.
